Fat C - Elephant Crocodile Outside Room 10! By Axle
Levi's mammal called Zoey. It can grow to the size of an elephant when it is fully grown, and the males will also grow horns! Ryan's Chamird. It is a type of bird because it flies, and it moves to live in trees when it is winter. Here a some more kinds of mish-mash animals and mish-mash work to publish today. Milan's mish-mash animal is called a foxicorn. Its Mum is a fox and the Dad is a unicorn. Milan said it lives in Candyland and eats foxpops! It can live up to 20 years. It can fly but if it goes too high, it will go down and run. Oh by the way, Milan said Candyland is in the clouds! Dylan has created his mish-mash animal on chatterpix and it does look like it is chattering! Morena, Today's challenge is all about creating a 'mish mash' animal! Draw or use pictures of animals from magazines to create your own animal that you have found living in your backyard. We can't wait to see your creations!
Kia ora,
Today's activities are in the slides below. Write your answers down on a piece of paper and either comment on this post with your answers or take a photo and send them straight to your teacher. We would love to see them! Morena, I hope that you all had a lovely long weekend with your families. Today's challenge is all about 'creating history' by making a time capsule. This could include things like a letter to yourself or even some newspaper cuttings of interesting articles. We can't wait to see pictures! Lucas spent many hours creating poppies and writing stories about Anzac. He put his poppies up in his window. Ethan made an amazing display with his sister to share with his neighbours, he has been investigating about ANZAC and has interviewed his neighbours to find out about their ANZAC stories. Dawson made poppies at his house. Even I managed to make a poppy! Harbir did an amazing job with his treasure hunt and I know that Fern found everything on the list at her place. Danny and his brother have made a beautiful ANZAC wall display with poppies for his neighbours to see. Ethan has been busy creating his own wreath for ANZAC day. Well done Ethan, we will remember them.
Morena, ANZAC Day is on the 25th of April. It is a day of remembrance for the fallen soldiers from all wars, but specifically it commemorates the day Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZACs) landed at Gallipoli in 1915. Due to the lockdown, this will be the first year in history that people cannot gather for ANZAC Day Services. No matter how you acknowledge and commemorate ANZAC Day in your 'bubble' in 2020, thank you for ensuring that, "We will remember them". Today and over the weekend, please take some time to have a look over the activities below. We would absolutely love to see what you and your families do. There are a lot of different activities to choose from, so do as much or as little as suits. Click on this link for the activities https://www.davidst.school.nz/files/238d6130ff498473/folders/33/ANZAC%20Home%20Learning%20Challenges.pdf Hi team,

You were all so creative with the different instruments that you found around your house. Today's activities are in the slides below. Write your answers down on a piece of paper and either comment on this post with your answers or take a photo and send them straight to your teacher. We would love to see them!
