Dylan and his family have connected with a whole band. The gig was well organised, they had a plan and musical instruments were found in all sorts of places. Such an awesome sound. William also jammed this morning with some of his family. They used different heights to get the different sounds My Whanau had a lot of fun making music today. Some of Room 7 made music with their families and some on their own. Have a look at what they got up too! Keep sharing and you might see your learning up on here! I have received some amazing, creative videos and photos from students of Room 8 today. Lots of family bands, one man bands, and sibling bands! Parents and caregivers, thank you for letting your children make some SOUND! Ka Pai team! It was so lovely to see so many of you today with all of your 'ma' coloured items that you found around the house. I love hearing the different songs that you created with your families. Room 6 have had another busy day and many children have involved the whole family in their challenge. Excellent! Lily Rose has had a lot of fun with the bowling, using marbles as weights. She added all the weights together to find out our scores. Lily Rose won the competition!
It sounds like Room 7 had fun with bowling today. I got involved at my house today too! I'm looking forward to seeing more photos and videos over the next few days. Dylan built his castle for a king who happens to have 3 guards. The castle is made out of cardboard and decorated with milk bottle tops and poms. Dylan painted it light blue as well. The castle is from Australia. Go the Aussies! I am looking forward to seeing more of Room Seven's castles. I have had a few pictures shared already. Ruby has drawn a picture of an amazing castle. Finn's castle is in a dark scary forest. Blake has made a cardboard castle and painted realistic stonework. Abby has made a lego castle in a magical land called Abtopia. Wow Room 8 students you continue to amaze me with your creative ideas! I have been receiving the most AMAZING castle creations today, and a few are posted below. ZOOM: Room 8 had our first zoom catch up today, with the theme 'Teddy Bears Picnic'. It was a lovely time to see our classmates again and remember what Miss Moscrip looks and sounds like so we don't forget! Another successful day with lots of positive emails and interactions with each other (via the internet). We know it is new and strange times for everyone, so it is important we stick together, help each other out and most importantly, try our hardest and always be kind. Vienna has created a tropical beach themed lego castle for the learning activity today. She built her castle for sea creatures to live in, and a few of the mysterious creatures that can be found inside are giant squid, jellyfish and treasure! Piper's new and improved David Street School as a castle! Danny's Design Danny's constructed his castle out of paper and cardboard. Danny you have thought about the design of your castle very carefully, it looks like a castle fit for a king! (or as you said, a mysterious tribe). Another enjoyable task complete. I have loved seeing and reading about your castles today! You all using your imaginations and thinking carefully about who lives in them and what mysterious things can be found inside.
